AQUASEAL Pumps used for Hydraulic Ash Handing & Dredging systems are rugged pumps for efficient performance, long life and economical operation designed to handle pieces of solid material. |

The initial high efficiency of the pump and characteristics are maintained due to the "AQUASEAL" principle which prevents abrasive material from entering and enlarging the running clearances between the rotating impeller and stationary parts, by a continuous flow of a small stream of clean water. This water also effectively protects other important parts from the abrasive-laden water. The stream water pressure is regulated by a globe valve. A large number of these pumps have been working in various power stations since Sixties. VARIABLE SPEED-DRIVE VARIABLE SPEED-DRIVE A special variable speed V-Belt drive can be provided whereby pumps speeds may be adjusted within desired limits to improve the discharge which might have been reduced due to wear on the impeller, in course of time. | SHAFT A precision-machined, heavy duty,
alloy-iron Shaft ensures smooth-running operation of the AQUASEAL pump. The Shaft is
protected from any wear inside the gland by hard metallic sleeve. BEARINGS Extra large size heavy-duty Bearings have been selected to support Shaft, for extra long life requiring minimum of maintenance.
