• Flowmore has test facilities for large vertical and horizontal pumps. The test sump is 7.5 meters deep having a capacity of approx. 5,85,000 liters.
• The overall dimension of the sump are based on recommendations of Hydraulic institute of USA for an optimum flow of 25000 M3/Hr.
• Performance test can be carried-out according to relevant IS / International BS / American codes. Performance test can be conducted under recommended submergence conditions for different pumps.
• Different flow conditions for the test are achieved by throttling butterfly valve on the down-stream side of the flow measuring device.
• Flow measurement on pumps is accomplished through fullbore magnetic flow meter and / or Orifice plate as per international standards. For measuring pressures, calibrated pressure gauges, manometers and differential pressure transmitters are used.
• Highly sophisticated and accurate measuring instruments are available for taking various measurements during test.
• Dedicated testTurnkey expith 1.5 meters positive head is available for testing of horizontal pumps.
• Power measurement facility at motor terminal with the help of dynamo-meter type watt-meters connected through appropriate HT current and potential transformers.

• Adequate power for running a test from 3000 KVA sub-station at the factory premises is available as below:

• Upto 400 KW at 415 Volts
• Upto 2500 KW at 3.3 KV
• Upto 1500 KW at 11 KV
• Upto 2500 KW at 6.6 KV

• For testing of pumps at reduced speed, variable frequency drive suitable for 450 HP along with 400 HP, 1480 RPM and 400 HP, 595 RPM motors are available on Test bed center. 
• H.T. Soft starter (FCMA design) for starting of 11KV / 6.6 KV motors up to 1500 KW and 3.3 KV motors up to 1000 KW motor are available on Test bed center.

Large pump sets requiring H.T. motors can be testing using client’s motor. Pumps requiring 415 volts can be tested with calibrated motors available at the test-center bed.

• 25-tonne Crane-facilities for installation and dismantling large pump is available at the Test-center.
• In addition to performance test, NPSHR test facilities for all kinds of pumps are also available at the test bed.
• Facilities are available for Pump MODEL and Sump MODEL tests to ascertain performance of large pumps and sumps before actual manufacture / construction of the proto-types.
• Highly qualified and experienced engineers carry-out these tests and Witness-tests may also be carried out by the clients.
• Siesmic analysis can be carried out as per client’s requirement.
